To qualify as a mammographer by MQSA standards, you need intensive training and continuing education. Approved by the AHRA, RadComm’s Initial Training in Mammography Program provides the required fundamentals by the MQSA and ARRT. This includes breast anatomy and physiology training, breast positioning, quality assurance, breast implant imaging, and digital mammography.
The Policy Guidance Help System provides the FDA’s view on the rules and regulations implementing the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA). It contains helpful information for mammography facilities and personnel, especially for new modality training for Full Field Digital Mammography (FFDM) and Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT).
